Initiatives & Community
Transformation doesn’t happen in boardrooms alone.
Emil believes that progress starts locally – through real people, visible action and shared values.
Through initiatives like #WorldLitterRun and #Plogging, he connects physical engagement with the same industrial logic that drives his companies – measurable impact, not symbolic gestures.
Emil also supports cultural and educational projects such as Global Sustainable Fashion Week, bridging creativity, science and policy to accelerate circular transformation.
His community work started long before the textile projects – from organising the Kungälv Ghost Walk in 2011, a Halloween event for children and adults that became a local folk festival (Göteborgs-Posten), to volunteering with Vuxna på stan, promoting safety, inclusion and dialogue in local communities.
Emil has also been active in youth sports, coaching football and bandy at regional and national levels. As a football coach, he led his school team to victory in Vårcupen, Kungälv, fostering teamwork, discipline and confidence in young players.
Everyday choices matter too – Emil primarily travels by bus and train, whether heading to meetings in Gothenburg, Oslo or Berlin, reflecting the same practical sustainability that guides his professional work.
On holidays, he volunteers with The Church City Mission, helping serve Christmas meals – a small reminder that community and care are part of the same circular logic.
It’s not about perfection – it’s about participation.
